Pretty tough conditions today down at Moonah Links on the Open course where Jon Peck came back into some form with an impressive 35pts to pip Steve Freeman by a shot with Craig Botterill filling the minor placings a shot further back. The coveted NAGA was won by Glen Thomas with a respectable 23pts and congrats to all our NTP and Pro Pin winners. In the Final of the Matchplay the contest see sawed early until Rudi grabbed a comfortable 3 hole lead but Willo still had a chance playing 17 only for Rudi to steady and win 2 &1.A good contest with plenty of laughs and heckling. And in a separate competition that the Ornsby boys played the Andersen boys in their annual competition where the Ornsby’s took the chocolates. Next round is at Devil Bend on September 17 hope to see everyone there. Thanks again to all our organisers and to Fants for providing a little sip around the course. Thanks to Jimmy Abbott and the grey haired ol fool for organising another Matchplay competition in 2023 and hope everyone had a great day!
