Well the Annual Classic has been done and won. Colin Joell followed up his solid 34pts yesterday with an impressive 37pts to pip Shane Infanti on the first play-off hole at Yarrawonga today. Jimmy Abbott finished 3rd a shot back as well as last year’s Champion Glenn Thomas. Our NAGA this year was Athol Bailey. Congrats to all our NTP and Longest drive winners and a special thanks to our wonderful executive committee of Dicky, Muff and Fants for organising the weekend. Look forward to seeing everyone at our next hit at Moonah Legends in 3 weeks time. Also congrats to our pairs winners Col Muff and G.T and Muff on the Saturday.
Cool but benign conditions today at Yarrawonga playing the Lakes course where Glenn Thomas had an outstanding 40pts to win the first day of the Classic comfortably from Jimmy Abbott 3 shots back with Shannon “Shaggy “Murphy filling the minor placings. Congrats to all our NTP and Pro Pin winners and look forward to tomorrow’s final round.
