Well the Classic has been run and won with an amazing 76 pts over the 2 days for a first time winner in Shane Infanti. He did it with ease and a few red wines to etch his name in Birdiehunters history. The grey haired old fool had a day out to pinch the runners up title with 72pts from Danny Maher on a countback who had played brilliantly all weekend. Rick Wanless was extremely stiff to miss out on the minor placings by a single shot. Pairs winners over the weekend were Danny Maher and Rick Wanless on the Saturday and Beaver and Cliffy on the Sunday. Naga winners were Smithy on the Saturday and little Muff on the Sunday but Johnny managed to get the overall Naga winner. Thanks to Ando,Dicky and Trace for the BBQ Saturday night and for Earl running the show in Ansel’ s absence another great weekend. Thanks to Ansel for once again organizing the whole trip which as usual ran smoothly. Look forward to next year and our 25th Anniversary of the Classic weekend.
